Butterfly Screen

I went to a photograpy class today and promptly went out and forgot everything I had heard, remembered what I already knew, and ended up with this.  While everybody else was trying to get the perfect butterfly shot by zooming in, and shadowing to cut the light and get the colors to pop, I saw this and liked it better.

What do you think she’s doing behind that leaf?

  1. Oh how fun! I wish we could take that class together. I’m a habitual “shadower,” since I learned that tip from a docent on a photography walk in Death Valley. But I LOVE LOVE LOVE this picture! Magnificent.

  2. That’s a beautiful picture! Mark
